Flu Clinics Winter 2020

Our flu clinics will be held at Plymstock United Church, 70-74 Plymstock Road, Plymstock PL9 7PB.  The clinics will run on Saturday 3rd, Saturday 17th and Saturday 24th October in the mornings for the over 65 year age category.  If you will be 65 years old by 31 March 2021 you will fall in to this category.  Clinics for at risk patients aged between 18 and 64 years will run in the afternoon on Saturday 3rd and Saturday 17 October.  Due to Covid-19 demands these are very likely to be the only clinics we are going to run.

The appointments times will be in 15 minutes intervals - for example 8.30am - 8.45am, 8.45am - 9.00am etc.  It is important that you arrive at your allotted time - please do not arrive early.

The Church car parks will not be available during these clinics.  If at all possible, please attend on foot.  If you have to bring a car, please park considerately along Plymstock Road.  If you have a disabled badge, you will be able to park immediately in front of the Church grounds, but not in the disabled parking bays.

When attending, you will near to wear a face mask and be prepared to queue, possibly outside of the building.  We would appreciate only patients who are having a flu vaccination attend, unless you need to bring a carer with you.  Please, if possible, wear a short sleeved top on the day of your appointment.

On the day of your appointment, if you have any coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms (high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change in your sense of smell or taste), please do not attend.

Unfortunately, there is no scope for any other services during these clinics - they are for seasonal flu vaccinations only.

Please contact our Reception Team on 01752 404743 to book your appointment.  If you fall in to the over 65 years category and have had an anaphylactic reaction to eggs previously, please inform the Receptionist.
