ANIMA

Please see below a series of (hopefully) useful photos which will help you register and use our new Anima System when we go live on 31 October 2023.

This is what the Anima home page looks like - once your have signed up for an account, it will show Dean Cross Surgery at the top.

Create your Anima account - you will only have to do this one time. This will allow you to submit requests to your GP, check back on the requests you have submitted, and keep track of any action plans in place. 

First, click Create new account:

On the next page, enter the email address you want to register with and enter a password that you will remember. Your password must contain at least 8 characters, and must contain a mixture of upper case letters, lower case letters, and numbers.

Once you've entered your email address and password, click *Create account:

You’ll receive a verification link from authenticate@animahealth.com to the email address that you entered. If you don’t receive an email, check your spam or junk folders and make sure you entered your email address correctly.

You will see a page confirming your registration:

Go back to Anima and click Return to Login page:

On the login page, enter the email and password that you just registered with under the Already have an account? section of the page, then click Login:

Enter the information on the following page - the Anima system uses this information to verify with the NHS that you are registered with Dean Cross Surgery.  Don't worry if you don't know your NHS number - any details that are not automatically matched will come through to the surgery for verification.

Once your account is set up and verified the system will offer you a short tutorial - please do take the time to view it.  

Once you have set your own account up, you can add dependants here:

Need help with a new or existing medical issue? Click on the Get help for a medical issue button:

Need a sick note? Test results? An admin request? Click the Submit an admin request button:

Please do take the time to familiarise yourself with the system - it might look a bit alien initially but we are confident that this new system will be easy to use.  Please also remember that we are still here!  If you have any problems accessing Anima for whatever reason, and you need our help, please just ring us.
